Thane sitting this session out

For the first time in 36 years, Russ Thane stayed home instead of gathering together with other elected lawmakers to reorganize the N.D. House and Senate prior to a new session. He went about his regular business this week as the man voted in November to replace him, Sen. Arden Anderson, D-Wahpeton, learned about the state's computer system and where he was expected to park outside the capitol.
