I love little country streams, sleep without dreams, Sunday school in May, and hay - and I love you too.
I love leaves in the wind, pictures of my friends, birds in the world, and squirrels - I love coffee in a cup, little fuzzy pups, bourbon in a glass, and grass - and I love you too.

I love winners when they cry, losers when they try, music when it's good, and life - and I love you too.
My mind grabbed a hold of the theme of that song and I started thinking about things that I love. I'm going to sit here and just tap out a bunch of them on to my keyboard.
Here goes.
I love:
I love the song "I love" by Tom T. Hall.
The feeling I had when my daughter told me she wanted to sing (lip sync) a Hannah Montana song to me, and the chorus was, "I learned from you that I do not crumble - I learned that strength is something you choose - all of the reasons to keep on believin' - there's no question, that's a lesson, that I learned from you."
When my two year-old son walks up to me and says, "Da da, up me" (hold me).
Eating shrimp and fish at Long John Silvers until my tummy hurts (I know that one probably grossed some people out -sorry).
The song, "Poems, Prayers, and Promises," by John Denver.
Finding out the repair on my car that looked like a few hundred bucks will be only $40.
The very moment I suddenly realize my really bad headache is completely gone.
The memory of my dad singing "How Great Thou Art" in his bedroom while he changed his clothes after church.
The memory of my dad singing "Amazing Grace" in his bedroom while he changed his clothes after church.
Watching my two children be born.
The truth behind the DNA molecule.
Not getting an over-draft on my checking account when I was sure I would.
The song, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."
Seeing my daughter rock my son to sleep as she sings,"Go to sleep little Hoffy, go to sleep."
Seeing my son lay down beside his sister when she is upset, patting her, and saying, "Don't cry gee-gee (sissy.)
Looking up at the stars.
Finally understanding the old saying about sticks and stones.
The feeling I have inside when I read the words spoken by Jesus Christ when He said, "It is finished."
