West admits to embezzling

Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative discovered recently an accounting employee, Colleen West, has been embezzling money from the cooperative.
Susan Johnson, Minn-Dak communications manager, said she cannot comment on the situation much as it is an ongoing investigation.
The Cooperative discovered a misappropriation of funds, informed law enforcement and West has been terminated from her accounting position.
“The financial integrity of the cooperative is not affected and the co-op is fully insured to cover any losses,” Johnson said.
