Head Coach Jane Passa said, "This was a super team effort. We had super passing. Everyone contributed."
The Wildcats opened up the first game with a 6-0 run, thanks in part on the serving of Amy Coppin. The Cougars would get back into the match and cut the Wildcat lead to three points at 10-7.

Towards the end of the first game, Sara Stahlke would get two kills and Kacie Reardon would get the game winner, as NDSCS won the first game 25-15.
The second game started much tighter and stayed that way until the Wildcats led 17-14. At that point, the Wildcats scored all but one of the final points and came out with another 25-15 win, to lead the match 2-0.
In the third game, the Cougars scored the first point. However, after NDSCS gained the lead at 2-1, they would not trail again. With strong net play and the serving of Coppin, the Wildcats rattled off seven of the next nine points and built a quick 9-3 lead.
Megan Theis got a winner late in the match to get the Wildcats to game point. When the Cougars hit a return into the net, the Wildcats wrapped up the final game 25-11, and the match 3-0.
"It was so fun to see us play together," Passa said. "Everyone did a great job."
The Wildcats improved their season record to 12-5 and will get ready for their next match Wednesday, when they travel to Jameston to face Jamestown College's JV.
