Polling places spread around Richland County

On Tuesday, Nov. 4 Wahpeton voters can head to four locations throughout the city, depending on their home address, and township residents should vote at their set polling place.

Polling sites are as follows:

Residents of Wahpeton, Ward 1 and Summit Township can vote at the Wahpeton Senior Center at 520 3rd Ave. S., Wahpeton.

Residents of Wahpeton, Ward 2 and Center Township can vote at the Richland County Law Enforcement at 413 3rd Ave. N., Wahpeton.

Residents of Wahpeton, Ward 3, along with Dwight Township and Dwight City, can vote at Wahpeton City Hall at 1900 4th St. N., Wahpeton.

Residents of Wahpeton, Ward 4 can vote at the Wahpeton Middle School Library.

Each of these four locations are open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Ward boundaries and poll locations can also be seen on the city of Wahpeton's Web site at http://www.wahpeton.com.

Other polling sites, each open from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. are as follows:

Residents of Barrie, Helendale and Walcott Townships and people in the city of Walcott can vote at Walcott Lutheran Church at 537 3rd. St, Walcott.

Residents of Sheyenne, Viking, Nansen, and Colfax Townships and people in the city of Colfax can vote in the Colfax Community Hall at 209 Broadway St., Colfax.

Residents of Antelope and Barney Townships and residents in the city of Barney can vote at Barney City Hall, 109 Main St., Barney.

Residents of Liberty Grove and Belford Townships and the city of Mantador can vote at Mantador Fire Hall, 302 Main St., Mantador.

Residents of Freeman, Garborg, West End, Homestead, Wyndmere, and Danton Townships and people in the city of Wyndmere can vote at Wyndmere Fire Hall at 306 Cedar Ave., Wyndmere.

Residents of Grant, Dexter, Moran, and Duerr Townships and the city of Lidgerwood can vote at American Legion Hall at 23 Wiley Ave. N., Lidgerwood.

Residents of Brightwood and Elma Townships can vote at Hankinson Fire Hall at 102 Main Ave. N., Hankinson.

Residents of Abercrombie Township and the city of Abercrombie can vote at Abercrombie Community Hall at 516 Broadway, Abercrombie.

Residents of Ibsen and Mooreton Townships can the city of Mooreton can vote at Mooreton Fire Hall at 201 Mooreton Ave. S., Mooreton.

Residents of Lamars, Devillo, and Fairmount Townships and the city of Fairmount can vote at the Fairmount Community Center at 113 Main Ave., Fairmount.

Residents of Brandenburg, Waldo, Greendale Townships and the city of Hankinson and Great Bend can vote at Hankinson City Hall at 319 Main Ave. S., Hankinson.

Residents of Eagle Township and the city of Christine can vote at 201 Maine Street, Christine.

A North Dakota state law requires voters to bring with them picture identification.
