Strand awarded N.D. Colleague of the Year

Innovis Health hosted the first Doctors Society Gala on Friday, Oct. 17. Through internal nominations and voted on by their peers, a number of awards were presented to physicians and administration throughout the event.

Dr. Duane Strand, Internal Medicine at Wahpeton, received the North Dakota Colleague of the Year award.

Others awarded: Dr. Fadel Nammour, Gastroenterology at 32nd Avenue, and Dr. Rich Vetter, Family Medicine at West Fargo, received the Fargo Colleague of the Year awards; Dr. Abigail Ring, Family Medicine at Detroit Lakes, received the Minnesota Colleague of the Year award; Dr. Joe Burns, Emergency Medicine at 32nd Avenue, and Dr. Myra Quanrud, Pediatrics at Jamestown, received the Community Physicians of the Year awards; Kevin Pitzer, CAO of Innovis Health, received the Champion award.

All providers and administration were invited to attend and a dinner, presentation and entertainment completed the evening celebration.
