Public invited to review flood map

The public is invited to a review of the new preliminary FEMA Flood Rate Insurance Map for Richland County, to be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. in the basement of the Richland County Law Enforcement Center in Wahpeton.

The purpose of this Review of the updated Flood Mapping is to allow both officials and the public the opportunity to view, comment and ask questions regarding the new floodplain maps. Representatives from FEMA, North Dakota State Water Commission and Houston Engineering will be available to answer questions and take comments regarding the new updated maps.
