Richels named All-Conference

The Wahpeton High School girls swim team competed in the EDC conference meet on Saturday, Nov. 8 at UND. Teams at the competition included Fargo North, Fargo South, West Fargo, Grand Forks Central, Grand Forks Red River and Wahpeton. Kelsey Riches was one of 18 girls named to the All Conference team, an honor she earned by placing first in the 100 freestyle and third in the 200 freestyle.

The Wahpeton Swim team will be competing at the state meet in Mandan on Nov. 14 and 15th. State qualifiers from Wahpeton include Riches, Kasey Lasch, Carissa Buchholtz, Liesel Carlson and Toree Schulte.
