Michael Cremers, 21, Breckenridge, Minn., died Feb. 7, 2009, at his residence in Fargo, N.D.

The funeral for Michael will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Breckenridge, with the Rev. Kenneth Popp officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Breckenridge.

Pallbearers are Ross Aigner, Zach Felt, Tim Johnson, Jake Caspers, Joe Caspers and Brad Harris.

Michael Douglas Cremers was born June 9, 1987, in Breckenridge, the son of Douglas and Sharon (Petersen) Cremers. He attended Breckenridge Schools, graduating from Breckenridge High School in 2006. He furthered his education at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D., and was currently attending Minnesota State Community & Technical College in Moorhead, Minn., enrolled in computer science and programming.

Michael enjoyed computers, music, spending time in the outdoors, archery, working at Burger King and his co-workers, and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael is survived by: his parents, Sharon and Brian Caspers, Fargo, N.D., and Douglas and Sandy Cremers, Breckenridge; his sisters, Tina (Ross) Aigner, Wolverton, Minn., and their children, Hunter, Sophie and Claire, and Susie Cremers (fiancé Zach Felt) Detroit Lakes, Minn.; his maternal grandparents, Merwin and Annabel Petersen, Breckenridge; his paternal step-grandparents, Delbert and Marlene King and family, Arthur, N.D.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Walter and Eleanor Cremers; his uncle, Richard Cremers; his cousin, Jamie Cremers; his pet cat, Buster.
