LuAnn Wilcox, director, said they started a billiards ladder tournament for students in fifth and eighth grade.
"The seeding round is this week, the challenge round continues through March 19," she said.

The Center also recently held a "Rock the Rink" party for high school students after Cowgirl's Senior Night on Feb. 20.
"The icy, snowy roads made it unfeasible for me to drive down from Moorhead for it, but about 20 youth went and enjoyed pizza, pop and games," she said.
Wilcox plans to meet with an advisory group to further encourage volunteers to help at fundraising events and other youth program opportunities.
"Without these supportive efforts, the possibilities are very limited and the potential will not be realized," she wrote in a letter to the group.
Public attendance at the warming house has been waning lately, and Wilcox said they will be cutting back on opening hours next week. No new schedule has been established yet.
