Jo D. Lange, 86, Colorado City, Colo., formerly of Fairmount, N.D., died May 10, 2009, in Pueblo, Colo.
A memorial service is pending.
Jo D. Smitherman was born in Bibb County, Ala., on April 14, 1923. Jo enjoyed traveling the world as an Air Force wife. She later settled in Denver, where she lived until recently. Jo was a loving mother and grandmother, a loyal friend to many, and an expert bridge player.
She is survived by: children, Bill (Judy) Lange of Dundee, Minn., and Naomi (Yonge) Simmons of Colorado City; grandchildren, Christian Lange, Jenny Carlin, Lange Simmons, Joshua Simmons; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Natalie Carlin.
