A musical family will be singing for one of their largest audiences Sunday.

Ed Olson of Wahpeton will join his daughter Alicia and eight other family members in leading the singing of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' during the Minnesota Twins baseball game at the Metrodome.

Olson and his wife Sandy are going to the Twin Cities for a wedding for one of Sandy's nieces on Saturday.

The group will lead the crowd during the seventh inning stretch when the Twins face the Houston Astros.

"My niece, Rachael set it up. She works for the Target corporation," Olson said. "She came to us and said 'how would you like to do this?' and we said 'sure, why not.’"

Olson's brothers-in-law will also be a part of the group.

John, Curt, Bob and Ken McDougall, along with Bob's sons Bill and Jim, Ken's son John and Curt's daughter Rachael will complete the ensemble.

Olson said the group was limited to 10 because of the size of the booth they will be in at the Metrodome.

"All of Sandy's brothers and I sing at nieces and nephews weddings," Olson said. "We do a lot of four-part and whatnot. We do a lot of karaoke. But never for an audience this big."

Sandy Olson directs the choir at Evergreen United Methodist church in Wahpeton, in which Ed sings.

Sandy said that all of the guys either are or have been in choirs and this is going to be exciting for them.

Sunday, when the seventh inning stretch arrives, Olson will have his daughter, Alicia, by his side on Father's Day.

"We have fun every time the family gets together," Olson said. "This will be a lot of fun. This will be a special Father's Day."
