Harold was born to Ernst and Lillian Hodel Sept. 5, 1917, in Wahpeton, N.D. Harold enjoyed Sunday drives, dining out, singing, music and especially sitting in the sun. He had a heart of gold and had a good sense of humor. He could brighten the darkest day. “Grandpa, I enjoyed the past five years that you lived your life with me. We had the best years of our life while you were with me, I will miss seeing you everyday and hearing ‘I love you’ and your big smile. My heart aches, but I know you enjoyed your life. Until we meet again I will always love you.” Your granddaughter Debbie.
