Cloggers visit Leach Public Library
Published/Last Modified on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 3:25 PM CDT
Members of the group 'DL Cloggers' spent Tuesday afternoon teaching kids how to clog dance at the Leach Public Library in Wahpeton. The event drew 60 kids to the library as part of their summer reading program. Clog dancing originated in the Appalachian Mountain region of the United States and dates back hundreds of years. The kids also had a chance to see a demonstration of ballet and jazz dance by 'Just for Kix.'
