Dennis Prante, 69, Casselton, N.D., died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in his home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11a.m. in West Funeral Chapel, West Fargo, N.D.
Burial will be in Lisbon, N.D. at Oakwood Cemetery.
Dennis Jerome Prante was born January 21, 1940 in Fargo, N.D. to J. Roscoe and Mary (Morkert) Prante. He graduated from Milnor High School and attended two years at Wahpeton State School of Science. In 1957 Dennis was a member of the National Guard. He worked in sales at various companies including restaurant and hospitality.
He is survived by three sons, James (Peggy), Eagan, MN, Jerry (DoeRae), Wahpeton, Jay (Deanna) Casselton, N.D.; one daughter, Julie (Kevin) Lawler, Casselton; One brother, James (MaryLou) Prante, Milnor, N.D.; one sister, Betty (Eric) Nygaard, Fargo, N.D.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Danielle Prante.
