Anne Carlsen Center names interim CEO

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — The Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown has named an interim chief executive officer.

Fargo health care consultant Eric Monson began his duties this week.

Monson served on the center’s board of trustees for six years, most recently as vice chairman. He oversaw center operations as a senior executive with Banner Health System and its predecessor, Lutheran Health Systems, for 12 years before the center became an independently owned organization in 2003.

The Anne Carlsen Center helps people with disabilities or behavioral disorders. Its previous longtime CEO, Daniel Howell, is leaving to head the Beatrice State Development Center in Nebraska.
