Katie Zylstra and Jake Dykema announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the bride are Harold and Becky Zylstra, Worthington, Minn.
Parents of the groom are Dick and Karla Dickerson, Wahpeton, N.D., and Alvin and Julie Dykema, Horace, N.D.
Katie is a graduate of Worthington High School and North Dakota State College of Science with a degree in occupational therapy assisting. She is employed as an occupational therapy assistant at Comprehensive Rehab., Inc., in Clinton, Iowa.
Jake is a graduate of Wahpeton High School. He is a member of the North Dakota National Guard 188th Engineer Co., Wahpeton. He is employed at Bodine Services in Clinton.
A Sept. 19, 2009, wedding is planned in Worthington.
