Five were injured in the accident at approximately 7:30 p.m., reported the Richland County Sheriff's Office.
The accident occurred on Richland Road No. 16, just west of Interstate 29. A 2002 Chevrolet truck was traveling west when the driver, Amabeli Soto Rodriguez, lost control of the vehicle and rolled it in the north ditch. The 32-year-old driver and her four children sustained minor injuries and were all transported to St. Francis Healthcare Campus in Breckenridge. The driver's four children — aged 1 1/2, 4, 8 and 10 years old — were released from the hospital that same night.

Great Bend Fire and Rescue, Hankinson Ambulance, Mantador Fire Department, Ambulance Service, Inc., Richland County Sheriff's Office and North Dakota Highway Patrol all responded to the accident.
Though the AAA predicted people would still travel due to lower gas prices and good deals on vacations, the area saw plenty of residents stick around.
Richland County Sheriff Larry Leshovsky said it was a pretty quiet weekend for his deputies. “They wrote out some tickets, but they were just speeding and seat belts, no DUIs,” he said. Leshovsky said Mooreton’s street dance had 800 people, but everybody was well behaved.
