Lawrence Fredette, 92, Wahpeton, N.D., died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at St. Catherine’s Living Center, Wahpeton.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15 at St. Catherine’s Chapel with Rev. Dale Lagodinski as celebrant.
Visitation will be Tuesday one hour before the service.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Lawrence was born May 23, 1917, at Forman, N.D., until moving to Grafton State School in November 1921. In November 1983 he moved to Wahpeton and was served by Red River Human Services Foundation until his admission into St. Catherine’s Living Center in May of 2009.
Lawrence had interests in bowling, horse shoes, volleyball, basketball, listening to music, card games, going out to eat and enjoyed going out for walks. More recently he enjoyed working on crafts, bingo and movies on television.
He is survived by: his brother, Harry DeFreaz, Mahnomen, Minn., and his Red River Human Services family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
