Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Lidgerwood, with the Rev. Robert Smith as celebrant.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. all at St. Boniface Catholic Church. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Anne Caroline (Vaplon) Breker, daughter of Frank and Ida (Fischer) Vaplon was born in Grant Township, Lidgerwood, on May 22, 1922. Anne attended grade school at St. Boniface School and graduated from high school in Lidgerwood. Anne worked for Ida Bisek Prokop Studio at Lidgerwood making prairie feather pictures. She married Henry Breker on Oct. 8, 1945, at St. Boniface Church, Lidgerwood. They lived and farmed in Grant Township, three miles west of Lidgerwood until 1981 when they moved into Lidgerwood. Anne entered St. Gerard's Nursing Home, Hankinson, in January 2009.
She was an active member of Christian Mothers, Camera Club, Right to Life and St. Boniface Parish. She was a great cook and is well known for her coffee cakes and enjoyed making feather trays for her family and homemade cards for all occasions.
Anne will be dearly missed by: two sons, Kenneth (Colleen) Breker, St. Joseph, Minn., David (Janice) Breker, Lidgerwood; a daughter, Mary (Keith) Giesler, Kulm, N.D.; 10 grandchildren, Kathy (Adam) Walburn, Chasidie Ratliff, Karen Breker, Kim Breker, Laura (Tony) Wolf, Allison Breker, Trisha Breker, Bradley (Jill) Giesler, Cheryl Giesler and Steven Giesler; six great-grandchildren, Devin, Darian, Breanna and Bailey Walburn, Lea Kling and Brendon Giesler; and a sister-in-law, Louise (Breker) Krebs, Dickinson, N.D.
She is preceded in death by: her husband; her parents; two brothers, Lawrence Vaplon and Conrad Vaplon; two sisters, Frances Kohoutek and Agatha Garad; her son, John and daughter-in-law, Mina (Haugen) Breker.
Frank Family Funeral Home, Lidgerwood, is in charge of the arrangements.
