Patricia Hanson and Chris Vetter announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the bride are Russ and Nancy Edmonds Hanson of Moorhead, Minn.
Parents of the groom are Alan and Nancy Vetter of Wahpeton, N.D.
Patti is a graduate of Oak Grove Lutheran High School, Fargo, N.D., and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She is employed as executive chef at the VIP Room in Fargo.
Chris is a graduate of Wahpeton High School and is completing his master's degree in polymers and coatings at North Dakota State University in Fargo.
An Oct. 23, 2009, wedding is planned at Nativity Catholic Church in Fargo.
