Company, Headquarters Battalion, 4th Marine Division are returning home from
a seven-month tour in Iraq on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009. The Marines will fly

families for 30 days of combat leave.
During their seven-month tour, the Marines were assigned to a
security mission near Tikrit, Iraq. They performed convoy security, route
reconnaissance and detention facility operations. This is the unit's second
activation and deployment within the last two years. In October 2008, the
Marines returned from a prior seven-month deployment to Iraq.
