North Dakota DOT taking extra precautions The North Dakota Department of Transportation recently set up a speed monitoring sign on the N.D. Highway 210 bypass just south of the traffic lights at the 16th Avenue North intersection. Fargo DOT Sign Manager Lyle Landstrom said the North Dakota Highway Patrol requested the sign be set up mainly for beet harvest. ‘It’s there to bring attention to the fact there is a speed zone,’ Landstrom said. One of the deciding factors in having the sign placed on the bypass was the fatal traffic accident Sept. 29. |
