by Kathleen Leinen • Daily News
When Murphy Oil Company, based out of Eldorado, Ark., was looking for an ethanol plant they had certain criteria to meet.
Their vision of the future was of a 110 million gallon facility near corn and great people.
Senior Vice President Tom McKinley said at the open house celebration ceremony Friday they couldn’t have described Hankinson any better.
State and local officials were on hand to welcome Murphy Oil to Hankinson. N.D. Gov. John Hoeven and representatives for U.S. Sens. Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad and Congressman Earl Pomeroy were also present.
“We’re here because ethanol has a good future,” McKinley said.
