The Special Meeting of the Board of Education, Independent School District No. 846, Breckenridge, Minnesota met Monday, January 25, 2010, at 6:00 PM at the Breckenridge High School, Room 507.

Members Present: Arnhalt, Hiedeman, Johnson, Radig, Rittenhouse Sayler, and Wiertzema.

Chairperson Johnson called the special meeting to order at 6:00 PM on Monday.

Motion by Hiedeman, seconded by Arnhalt to approve the agenda as presented. MCU

NEW BUSINESS:

The meeting was recessed at 6:13 PM to resume Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Breckenridge High School, room 507 due to weather.

The meeting reconvened Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 6:00 PM with all board members present and Superintendent Schmidt was present.

Superintendent candidate second interviews were conducted with Rick Bleichner and Jim Torkelson.

Motion by Arnhalt to enter into negotiations with Rick Bleichner for a superintendent contract and if negotiations breakdown, then to negotiate with Jim Torkelson. Hiedeman seconded the motion. Roll call vote was taken: Ayes: Johnson, Hiedeman, Wiertzema, Arnhalt Nays: Radig, Rittenhouse, Sayler Motion carried: 4-3

It was the consensus of the board to enter into negotiations with Bleichner.

Motion by Rittenhouse, seconded by Sayler to adjourn at 8:15 PM on Tuesday. MCU

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that by virtue of a judgment and decree of foreclosure rendered and given in the District Court in and for the County of Richland, North Dakota, Southeast Judicial District, entered and docketed in the Office of the Clerk of said Court on December 16, 2009, in an action wherein The Industrial Commission of North Dakota, acting in its capacity as the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency was Plaintiff and Richard A. Hable, Sr. and LaVerne M. Hable, then husband and wife, and Richard Guckenberg, current spouse of LaVerne M. Hable, were Defendants; on which day it was adjudged that there was due and owing the Plaintiff from the Defendants Richard A. Hable, Sr. and LaVerne M.
