Smith signs with North Dakota State University

Wahpeton senior Ryan Smith signed a National Letter of Intent Wednesday at Wahpeton Senior High School. Smith will play football next year for North Dakota State University in Fargo. Wednesday was the first day high school football players could sign with college football programs. Smith, who was a running back and defensive back for the Huskies, is shown here with Wahpeton Activities Director and former head football coach Mike McCall.
