"A lot of teams will sit back and let us shoot," Lady Huskies head coach Toviao Hopkins said. "They came out and took away our wing passes. And we needed some time to get used to it. And I think it was their physicality. We couldn't match up with a couple of their big kids."
The Lady Huskies got on the board first. Sophomore guard/forward Tawny Irwin scored the team's first points and finished the game with 11.
