The Breckenridge Cowboys basketball team came up short, 74-63, against the Hawley, Minn., Nuggets in Hawley Thursday night.

“Hawley shot the ball well, and when Joe Johnson and Nic Conzemius fouled out, Hawley capitalized,” said senior forward Joe Terfehr. “We just didn’t hit the shots we needed to get back into the game,”

The game started out even, with Hawley leading 9-8 with 13:14 left in the first half.
