Cowboys drop two duals

The Breckenridge wrestling team traveled to Barnesville, Minn., Friday for duals against Barnesville and United Clay-Becker (U-C-B).

The Cowboys lost both duals, 54-25 to Barnesville and 51-22 to U-C-B.

United Clay-Becker is a consolidation of Hawley and Lake Park-Audubon.

For the two duals, the Cowboys had highlights in the efforts by Stephen Erlandson.

The Sophomore went 2-0 while picking up an open weight and getting a pin.

At 145 pounds, Randy Hodges went 1-1 on the night at 145 pounds.

Jordan Krause wrestled one match and won.

Greg Erlandson went 2-0 with a pin and a major decision at 189.

At 215, Alex Banken recorded pins in both of his matches, while heavyweight Jeff Krause got a pin against his Barnesville opponent and went 1-1 on the night.

The Cowboys travel to Bertha-Hewitt, Minn., Tuesday for their next dual.
