Twenty youth registered and participated in the 2010 Mooreton Pond Youth Fishing Derby Saturday, Sept. 4.
First place: Grace Osmunson of Wahpeton, largest fish, 5.5 ounce sunfish.

Third place: Damian Gallo from Big Stone City, S.D., caught six sunfish with a total weight of 16.7 ounces.
Fourth place: Vincent Vara from Big Stone City, caught four sunfish with a total weight of 16.6 ounces.
Fifth place: Noah Pfeiff of Wahpeton caught four sunfish and one perch with a total weight of 13.6 ounces.
At the end of the derby, everyone enjoyed hotdogs and refreshments.
