Edith Labelle, 25, Breckenridge Minn., was sentenced in Richland County Thursday, Sept. 13 on a felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
According to Ron McBeth, assistant state’s attorney for Richland County, Labelle was delivering marijuana to a confidential informant.
At the sentencing, Labelle was given three years at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, with two years suspended from the sentence and 32 days credit for time served. She has to serve 333 days, pay restitution and have a chemical dependency evaluation.
Labelle, who was represented by Attorney Don R. Krassin of the Krassin Law Office, was also given probation until Sept. 13, 2015. McBeth said this was a normal sentence for the charge she faced.
