Econofoods recognized for contributions and support for programs

Econofoods in Wahpeton was recently presented with a plaque in recognition for the store’s contributions and support of the people and programs of Red River Human Services Foundation. Above: Heidi Higgins, left, is shown with her supervisor, Cheryl Christopher, at Econofoods. Higgins recently began working in the deli and receives job support through Red River Human Services as part of the company’s work program. A number of businesses throughout the Twin Towns support Red River Human Services by hiring people with disabilities through the work program.
