Carmen Burhans and her third grade students, Wahpeton Elementary, smile in celebration of being 2024 Coins for Wishes champions. Starting Wednesday, Jan. 3 and lasting up to Friday, Jan. 19, the class raised $804.61 for Make-A-Wish North Dakota. Wahpeton Elementary School collectively raised $3,032 for Make-A-Wish North Dakota. Make-A-Wish North Dakota is the local branch of the beloved charitable organization. Wishes are available to youth between ages 2-18 and can include trips, experiences and improvements. More info is at wish.org/northdakota.
