OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

HOT HOT HOT!  Things will get toasty today, so much so that the National Weather Service has issued the season’s first excessive heat warning for south central ND!  With temps over 90, and heat indices approaching 100, take the necessary precautions – SPF 50, lots of water and shade when you need it.

BULLSEYE!  Get your aim sharp for hunting season and nock a few arrows in preparation for the post-holiday State 900 and Field archery tournament in West Fargo, sponsored by the ND Bowhunters Association and the Sandhill Archers.

SAY CHEESE.  Delta Waterfowl’s Duck Dog Photo Contest is rolling.  Check out some great pics from around the country of retrievers in action throughout all sorts of conditions and waterfowl hunting environments.
