Parts of 12th Street North, 15th Avenue North closed starting Tuesday

WAHPETON — Beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 12th Street North between 14th and 16th Avenues North in Wahpeton will be closed. This is because of the Loy Avenue and 12th Street North Reconstruction Project. The contractor will also close 15th Avenue North between 11th and 12th Streets North.

The closures are needed to allow the completion of pavement removals and placement of new pavement. After the pavement is removed, the streets will be graded. This will allow residents to park on the street next to their homes. Entrances to apartments in the neighborhoods will be ramped up so residents can get in and out of parking lots.
