Wahpeton Police gives burglary-prevention reminders

Burglary is a class B felony in North Dakota, with a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment, a $20,000 fine, or both. The Wahpeton Police Department and other law enforcement agencies continue to stress that immediate reporting of a burglary or attempted burglary is most effective for law enforcement to quickly resolve the matter.
