Roger Hingst, 77, Des Lacs, North Dakota, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, in a Minot, North Dakota, hospital.
A private service will be held.
Roger was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Wahpeton, North Dakota, to Lloyd and Irene Hingst. He spent his growing up years in Breckenridge, Minnesota, Great Bend, North Dakota, Hopkins, Minnesota, and Wahpeton.
In the mid 1970s he came to Minot to manage a new music store downtown called Music City. He was there for many years until going to work in sales for Dart Records out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. After a number of years with Dart, he finished his working years driving bus for the Minot Public Schools.
His main passions were hunting, fishing and trapping. He was very good at all of them. He had many friends. We will miss him very much and all the memories he made.
He is survived by three sons and one brother. God Bless the years and our memories of Roger.
